These are the cards that I just completed for a greeting card swap on Mini Album Scraps.  I just love the way they turned out and was excited because I had never done these fancy folds before.

For this Thank You card, I used an Easel fold. I love this fold, it shows off the card so nicely.

 Materials:
GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food paper pack
Brown Bazzill Cardstock
White paper flower from www.zibbet.com/lizyjose
(I hit it with some walnut ink to make it the color I needed)
Small silver Brads
Tim Holtz Distress ink pad- Vintage Photo
Fiber/ Trim from Joann's Fabrics
Martha Stewart border punch

For this card I used a Tri- shutter fold:

Materials:
K& Company Merryweather collection paper pack
Green Bazzill cardstock
Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Brushed Corduroy
Making Memories buckle and flower embellishments
"for my friend" stamp
Brown Ribbon
Pearl Ribbon

This card looks really difficult to make and when I started, I didn't know if I was going to like how it came out.  Turns out, this card is super easy to make and showcases your patterned paper beautifully.  When I was done attaching all of the pattern papers I didn't really want to embellish it a whole lot because it looked great on its own.  So I added a couple of simple touches here and there and Voila!! done.
This is a view of the card fully expanded.

For this card I used a "flip flop fold " it opens to the right and then to the left as well.
Materials:
My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy paper pack
Bazzill cardstock in orange and teal
Making Memories buttons
Prima flowers
Owl stamp by Denami Design
"Hello Friend" stamp and teal ink pad by Studio G
Journaling circle stamp i-press by Hampton Art

I absolutely love how this card turned out.  The colors just pop together and it is a fun card that will make someone smile!!

Scrapbook paper is great for wrapping small gifts.  For my Mother in Laws, Mother's Day gift, I used a sheet of K & Co paper from the MerryWeather collection, a couple of Prima flowers, some Tulle, and a button. Viola: beautifully wrapped gift without having to buy a whole roll for one gift.
